MR.
ROB LANIER
Mr. Rob Lanier joins Miss Krebs in bringing Theatre in
Nature Camp back for a sixth consecutive year. Mr. Lanier believes
that being in nature is the ideal setting for encouraging in children
a growing consciousness of their senses, for observing the beauty
and engendering wonder of the natural world and the expansion
of their capacities of creativity and discernment. Plus, it is
very exciting to mount a complete play, from start to finish with
twenty-five 8-18 year olds in only two weeks time!
Rob Lanier
has worked with children in theatre for the past eighteen years.
During that time he has taught acting, movement, stagecraft, voice,
singing and playwrighting. He has written and directed numerous
plays for children of all ages. He holds a Masters of Education
from Antioch New England University and is occupied during the
school year teaching at the Waldorf School of Louisville where
he currently leads the Third Grade Class.
He is husband
to a Dr. of Psychology and father to a ten year old son.
