MISS TESS KREBS
Miss Tess Krebs is an actress and director with an MFA in acting from Brandeis University.

As a member of Actor’s Equity, she has acted locally with Stage One and the Kentucky Shakespeare Company. She also has experience in TV , commercial work, and trade shows.

Miss Krebs is a life long lover of the theatre arts. She has created and facilitated numerous workshops for adults and children focusing on acting, movement, voice, performance issues, and sensory awareness.

In it’s sixth year, Theatre in Nature Camp is a perfect venue for Miss Krebs to combine her theatre talents, her love of nature, and her passion for working with children.

She is the mother of a 12-year-old daughter and has been the owner/chef of a catering business for the last 17 years.

MR. ROB LANIER
Mr. Rob Lanier joins Miss Krebs in bringing Theatre in Nature Camp back for a sixth consecutive year. Mr. Lanier believes that being in nature is the ideal setting for encouraging in children a growing consciousness of their senses, for observing the beauty and engendering wonder of the natural world and the expansion of their capacities of creativity and discernment. Plus, it is very exciting to mount a complete play, from start to finish with twenty-five 8-18 year olds in only two weeks time!

Rob Lanier has worked with children in theatre for the past eighteen years. During that time he has taught acting, movement, stagecraft, voice, singing and playwrighting. He has written and directed numerous plays for children of all ages. He holds a Masters of Education from Antioch New England University and is occupied during the school year teaching at the Waldorf School of Louisville where he currently leads the Third Grade Class.

He is husband to a Dr. of Psychology and father to a ten year old son.
